Grants and Sponsors

Turning a piece of unused land into a thriving community garden is a complex process! To make the site ready for the community to use we needed to make it secure with good fencing, accessible by laying wheelchair-friendly paths and safe by removing diseased trees. Then we needed to connect to mains water (you can't garden without water!), site a composting toilet, and ultimately we ultimately to fulfil our ambitions to have a building on site complete with power for indoor sessions and to make that all important cup of tea!

It is astonishing to think how much work has been done, most of which required funding and we are extremely grateful for the grants we have received, as well as corporate sponsors and every gift and donation, both large and small. Here are some of the grants/sponsorships we have received that have helped make the garden a reality.
