Flower arranging worksop
Karen Blight, our garden designer, will be leading a new flower arranging workshop on Saturday 8th July from 10-12.30
This fund raising event follows on from the hugely popular Christmas Wreath making workshop she did in the autumn. Places are limited and likely to sell out fast, so do book your place soon!
The theme of the workshop is flower arranging for special occasions, such as a wedding or a party. The cost is £38 which includes all the flowers, foliage, ribbons etc you will need to make your arrangements and tea and coffee will also be provided. If you are successful in booking a place and have some of your own flowers you would like to incorporate into your arrangements then please feel free to bring them along with you.

Quiz night
Our second great fund raising event is a quiz night on Friday 23rd June at 7pm for a 7.30 start.
Andy Jones, the inimitable husband of Dr Karen Jones whose vision started the idea of the garden, will be our quizmaster of the night. If you have never met Andy, you will be in for a real treat of wit and wisdom and general banter!
The evening will be at the Wilfred Noyce centre in Godalming and entry will cost £10 per person, with teams of up to 8 people which you can arrange in advance or join on the night.
Please feel free to bring your own nibbles and drinks on the evening to help fire up your grey cells, celebrate your triumphs and compensate for those annoying times where the answer was on the tip of your tongue you couldn't quite find it!
