Come and join us at the garden on Saturday 27th June from 10-12 noon!
As well as the chance to see the garden in its full summer glory, we will be marking the open day with the formal opening of our fabulous boardwalk that has created access to our wonderful wildlife pond for everyone to enjoy.
And there will be plenty going on for all the family at the garden that morning - I've heard there will be cake!
Here is what to look out for:
A chance to wander round the garden and see everything that has developed since your last visit
Refreshments will be served in Lambert Lodge, our stunning new building that we opened just last year
The formal opening of the boardwalk to the pond by Councillor Penny Rivers at 10.30am. Penny was instrumental in helping us obtain the funding for this important project in the garden and so we are delighted that she has agreed to pronounce the boardwalk open! Do join us near the pond for the cutting of the ribbon at 10.30!
Pond-dipping will then take place after the pond has opened!
We love it when children come to our open days and enjoy seeing how much fun they have in the garden. There will also be activities just for children and we only ask that they remember to bring their responsible adult with them and remind their adult to look after them - especially with the deep water in the pond!
There will be plants for sale to help you fill those gaps in your own garden borders or your veg patch which the slugs love to create!
We will also be demonstrating some woodland crafts in the area we are developing for traditional craft activities - this is an ambitious new project and the team would love to show you how we are doing and tell you all about it!
The open morning obviously replaces our normal Saturday morning session on the 27th. We are really looking forward to it and hope to see you there!

Fabulous 😍. It looks absolutely amazing!
