Our fabulous garden designer, Karen Blight is offering her expertise once again this autumn to help raise funds for the garden, while inspiring people with planning their own garden design in our autumn Planting Design Workshop, or decorating their home with our ever-popular Christmas wreath making workshops.
The workshop will be an introduction to Planting Design, looking at the key principles you need to consider such as how to start a Planting Plan, plant combinations to achieve the look you are aiming for, flower bed design and what factors to research when you are choosing your plants - so that you get the right plant in the right place. Christmas Wreath Making Workshops
Karen's wreath making workshops have proved to be so popular that she is running two again this year, each with 24 spaces - they book up very fast so do get in early if you would like to come! Each workshop takes place in the lodge at the garden and all materials are provided so that you can not only have a fun time, but will be able to go home with your own beautiful Christmas wreath, helped along the way by Karen's encouraging guidance. What encourages us each year is how different all the wreaths look, and yet how individually stunning they all prove to be. Again, all the profits from the events will go to supporting the work of the garden.
