Our Vision
Our vision is encompassed in the phrase: Growing community wellbeing. We see the garden as being available to everyone in the community and that we literally grow things together, while at the same time growing our community and most importantly our wellbeing.
Working with Karen Blight, our garden designer, we started holding open sessions at the garden in 2023 for the community to come together in order to create and grow the garden, while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors and immersed in wildlife. See below for the times of the sessions.
We aim for the garden to be accessible to all and work has started on laying accessible paths and making the site secure.

The best way to stay in touch with what is happening with the garden is to subscribe to our newsfeed, with the subscription form at the bottom of each page.
You can get involved in a practical way already by joining us on a Saturday. We have a working party every Saturday from 10-12 noon and every Wednesday from 1pm-3pm. Everyone is welcome to find out what we are up to and to help out!
From the start of May 2024 we will also be opening the garden every Wednesday evening and every Friday morning. The first of these sessions will be on 1st and 3rd May respectively and the timings are: Wednesdays 5.30-7.30 pm and Fridays 10-12 noon.
Please note that we have decided to keep the garden dog free and so we would appreciate it is you did not bring your dog to the garden, apart from assistance dogs of course. Many thanks.
